Multiple Entities in a Single BC Company
- DimensionPath enables Global Dimension 1 to work as an Entity identifier, enforcing a balanced G/L by Entity
- Once enabled, the G/L will ALWAYS be in balance by Global Dimension 1 Value, facilitating full financial reporting by entity
Automated Handling of Inter-Entity Amounts Due
- Automatic generation of balancing payable/receivable entries between entities whenever a G/L posting crosses entity lines
- Post vendor invoices with lines allocated to multiple entities, to have the amounts hit those entities (base BC) and then automatically post the payable entries for those line entities to the header entity (with a corresponding automatic receivable entry)
Centralized Cash Management
- Issue payments or receive cash in a central entity, applying the transactions to open documents in other entities (optional – not allowed by default)
- Suggest Vendor Payments and Suggest Employee Payments by Global Dimension 1 values, generating lines to either pay out of each entity or to pay open items across entities out of a centralized entity
Dimension Based Security
- Define defaults and controls around dimension values by user
- Optionally restrict user data by dimension values, so that users can be set up to only see data for their entities
Cross-Entity Inventory Flows and Automation
- Automatic creation of matching documents (sales/purchase) between entities
- Automated supporting document creation for inventory sourced from other entities for third party sales, and for inventory targeted to other entities for vendor purchases
- Alternate location sourcing/targeting for document lines
- Full sales/purchase invoice creation and posting behind the scenes for cross-Entity transfers
Transfer Pricing
- Define transfer pricing to be used for cross-Entity sales/purchases
